	The mission of the Riverside Indonesian Fellowship is to attract and disciple people into a committed fellowship with Christ who communicate God's word through love, service and evangelism. Click here for Mission Statement In Indonesian



	We Dream of developing faithful well discipled Christians who love God and who show God's love toward their fellowmen wherever and whenever they can. We Dream of mature Christians who rely and trust in God in all that they do and have, who tithe regularly and whose lives exemplify a humility based on knowing that all we accomplish is done under God's grace. We Dream of ethnically mixed small groups within our church who willingly provide comfort and accountability to each other as they seek to grow spiritually. We Dream of developing strong families, and strong marriages, that believe in prayer and obedience to God and that in turn become mentors for young couples to do the same. We Dream of a Christian education program that leads our children and teenagers to study the Word of God, to develop spiritually, and to live righteously. We Dream of reaching those that are often forgotten by society such as the sick, the elderly, those in prison, and others to tell them the Good News! We Dream of instilling a passion for evangelism in every member of our church and sending well-equipped missionaries to Indonesia. 	The Riverside Indonesian Fellowship Believes The Following

	There is one God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who coexist in unity, and also as three separate, distinct Persons; Jesus Christ is God's Son. He was born of a virgin as both God and man, lived a sinless life, died to atone for the sins of human beings, was buried, arose from the grave, ascended into heaven and will literally return to earth. The Holy Spirit is the divine helper, assistant, counselor and insturctor, and His work is to reveal Christ, convict of sin, lead to repentance, guide belivers, comfort, strengthen, and sanctify the soul; The Bible is God's Holy Word, without error, and is the sole authority for life; Human beings are the special creations of God, made in His image. They fell through the sins of the first man, Adam, and all human beings are sinners in need of salvation; Salvation is a gift through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ and every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell; Baptism is after salvation and is done in obedience to Jesus Christ's command; Each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ; The church is a local body of believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the head. click here for RIF's Believe statement in Indonesian

	Core Ministry Values

	We Value - Godly Servant Leadership Principle : We believe the leaders of the church must love God first and follow his command to love one another. Action : This will be achieved through leaders who are committed to serving others and looking to Christ as an example. (Matthew 20: 28) We Value - Praise and Worship Principle : We believe that our salvation is from God and that we need to demonstrate our Thanks to Him. Action : This will be achieved through demonstrating that not only in church, but also in your daily walk, your life can be full of praise and worship. (Revelations 11: 16,17) We Value - Bible - Centered Preaching / Teaching Principle : We believe that all of the Bible is God's inerrant word. Action : This will be achieved as the pastor and lay leaders learn to preach and teach directly from the Bible; i.e. to become the mouthpiece for God's wisdom. (2 Timothy 4:2) We Value - Prayer Principle : We believe that prayer shows your dependency on God and strengthens your relationship with Him. Action : This will be achieved by teaching from the Bible and personal testimonies. (Ephesians 6:18-20) We Value - Discipleship Principle : We believe that leaders need to be disciple-makers. Action : This will be achieved through equipping adult Church members to live righteously, to study the Word, and to become leaders who in turn will disciple others. (2Timothy 2:2) We Value - Christian Education Principle : We believe that we need to reach the children early. Action : This will be achieved through classes for young children through high school students to equip them for spiritual battle in a godless world. (Proverbs 4) We Value - Evangelism Principle : We believe in obedience to the command of Jesus to go and make disciples of all nations. Action : This will be achieved as all Church members learn to witness and spread the Gospel. (Matthew 28:19,20) We Value - Cultural Relevance Principle : We believe that all people are important to God Action : This will be achieved by being sensitive to the cultural needs / issues that are important to the people we serve. (Galatians 3:28) We Value - Fellowship / Community Principle : We believe we should be committed to love one another. Action This will be achieved by developing small groups that fellowship, study the Word and pray for one another. (Acts 4:32, Ephesians 4:1-3) We Value - Church Reproduction Principle : We believe that we need to expand our Church.
